This musical drum is fun for our son. I noticed this morning that he realized how to tap - er, pound - on the top to make the short staccato beats. The lights and sounds are eye-catching, and he loves to roll it around and over. I can see it being useful as he learns to crawl. We introduced it at 4-months-old and he is now a little over 6-months.
