Editorial Reviews

Bumblebee has spent decades perfecting his fighting skills. With or without weapons, he is one of the most skilled fighters the Autobots have. He is dedicated to using his skills to defeat the Decepticons, no matter where they appear. Spring into action with this vehicle-to-robot hero. Convert your mighty Bumblebee figure from Camaro Concept car vehicle mode to battle-ready robot mode. Then convert him back to vehicle mode so he can chase down his enemies, complete with plasma cannon on top of the vehicle. As the battle rages on, keep converting him back and forth, so he's ready to face whatever his enemies throw at him. The weapons work with any MechTech Transformers figure.

5Bumblebee, A World Favorite by Book-Reader

I got this and it was awesome.
It's worth more than $11.90 in my opinion.
Here's some info about it.

PROs:

- Looks really good compared to the one from G1.
- Very playable
- Comes with the trailer.
- The Trailer/Jetpack can come off his back (Just incase you thought he looked wierd with it).
- The Autobot sign changes through colors when you apply heat to it (By that I don't mean put him in the oven, just hold your finger on him. If that doesn't work, apply different heat).
-Easy Transformation.
-Durable. I've dropped him and threw him around and nothing breaks.

CONs:
- The Autobot sign is a sticker but it really strong. Still holding on.
- When you put his Jetpack on his head not really adjustable because the jetpack is pushing it down.

Overall this is a great Toy to add to a transformers fan's collection!

5Badass Bumblebee !!! by Yuva

Hey ..

Well I didn't purchase this item through amazon but I still own one, so felt obligated to review it

This figure is one of the best bumblebee's out ... figure is sturdy and his robot mode closely resembles his original G1 counterpart ...

Truly worth getting !!!

5Gift for 5 year old son by Jami L. McConnell

My son LOVES Transformers, but many of the cars are too complex for him to work on his own. I was happy to see that they are packaged with level information so that I knew whether he would be able to do this himself. He is going to be a very excited little boy when he wakes up on Christmas morning!

5Bumblebee rocks by David R. Mullins

I was impressed with how sturdy this toy is. A little disappointed that he doesn't come with a weapon, but that's okay. I am super thankful that Hasbro came out with the line of Classics or generations or whatever they feel like calling it today.

5Now THIS is Bumblebee!!! by P. Daniels "Insert s

Bumblebee has come a long way from being the small yellow deformed VW Beetle from the original toy line. This character has gone through many versions along the way, including becoming a Pretender (G1), a vintage and then modern Camareo in many movie forms (including a few leader class).
Now 'Bee is back being something like what his original self was supposed to be. Being upgraded to a deluxe class, Bumblebee makes for a pretty cool figure, especially if you're one of his fans (which I am).
I can't comment specifically on this Bumblebee, but I have the original release, which is one of my favorite Transformers.
He's a little smaller than a normal deluxe (which he should be), but he makes up for it with an accessory, his trailer with a little jet ski attached.
'Bee himself is no longer a Volkswagon Beatle (VW apparently doesn't want their company associated with war machines, so Hasbro was unable to make him a Beatle again). However, he's still a compact car. If he can't be a Beatle, this form really isn't bad, and is a lot truer to the character than a Camareo.
His transformation isn't super involved, but is nice, and stays true to the character.
His robot mode is a little squat... which I count an advantage, since again, he's supposed to be small, not lean and big like Optimus Prime or Megatron.
He has a good deal of posability, including hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, elbows and neck. His head even looks like G1 Bumblebee. Actually, he as a little grin on his face... nice touch.
One of the few downsides is he has no gun, but he can hold Energon type weapons.
And he comes with his little trailer with the jet skii. It transforms into a little overhead jetpack. Nothing really exciting, it's just supposed to offset how small the figure is.
But I think he's a nice figure. If you missed him before, I say pick him up now... and for $10, that's a great price.
