Really Nice Stamp Set by Lillian37
We gave this to our 3-year-old for Christmas. She LOVES it. She spends a lot of time stamping paper and then coloring in the pictures she makes. It's made of wood and very sturdy. It also comes with colored pencils and two stamp pads of different colors, which is nice. We are very pleased with this stamp set.
I got this for my 11 year old daughter and was thrilled. I was worried it might be too "young" for her but, I found the stamps perfect for any age! I think she is going to really enjoy decorating notes and such as the stamps are varied and good for children to adults.
I love Melissa and Doug products, but lately they have not included their usual plastic sliding lid over their products. This makes storing this stamp set much more difficult. We have the dinosaur stamp set which has the cover and nothing falls out of it. I wish they would return to including the cover!
Bought this for my seven year old niece for Christmas.
She loved it! The kit is small, about 7-8 small stamps, one stamp pad with both pink & purple ink, and some colored pencils. But she had a lot of fun making sweet cards for everyone. She loves her arts & crafts, but I would guess for someone who already has a large array of stamps, this set might be a little to basic. But for a young girl who loves to make cards and crafts of sorts, this is a great beginner set.
its great for kids who like to do arts and craft... my girl loves it, it helps with motor skill problems and i hand corradination, helps with lazy eye.. just an over all great product.

Fantastic gift for a girl ages 5-10! My friend's daughter has used it repeatedly for the last year when writing thank you notes or creating her own cards.
My daughter really likes this stamp set. The only complaint I have is that the box doesn't have a lid or anything to keep the items inside. My daughter likes to take things with her when we visit family, and this is difficult to travel with. The stamps ARE very cute, though, and we've had a really great time creating beautiful artwork for the refrigerator!

I recently purchased from Amazon the Melissa & Doug Friendship Stamp Set and Deluxe Stamp Set for my 5 year old daughter. As with all of our M&D toys, I am incredibly impressed by the quality of these two products. My daughter loves making cards for people, so I am sure she will be putting these stamps to good use over the next several years. She is also learning to create her own "scenes" with the deluxe stamp set. These toys bring hours of enjoyment and encourage lots of constructive creativity. Well done again, Melissa & Doug, and great customer service from Amazon with quick delivery.

Bought this as a gift. My son has one very similar and has always loved playing with it. Wish the stamps were a little bigger as there is very little room to color. Overall, a lot of fun and not messy.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas and it was an immediate hit. I like the simple but useful packaging and the terrific price. My niece wasn't supposed to open the packaging on gifts until she got back home (to avoid messes at Grandma's house), but we found her hiding behind the tree coloring with her new stamp set! She's very happy with it, and the box it came with means she hasn't lost all of the pieces.
Bought this for my homeschooled granddaughters who are 4 and 6, and they love to do crafts as well. They are having fun with it and learning too!

my 5 yr old granddtr was very excited when she open this, but found it dificult to get enough ink from pad to make the stamp pic actually come fully through on paper, which surprised us, because I also thought products by mellisa & doug were of great quality. we are going to try & either wet the pad(maybe it's a little dry) or buy a ink refill to help moist pad. otherwise, handling the stamps & the color pencils made her very happy.
My 5 year old niece loved this product. It comes in a nice wood box to hold all your supplies and the stamps are large and heavy. The color pencils are nice as well.
I really like Melissa and Doug Toys. This set is no different.
The stamps in this set look like the ones someone might buy at a more expensive stamp place. They are wooden. While they might have less details than some of the stamps made for the adult market; they have some details putting them a step above the other cheaper children's stamps you can buy.
The stamp pad is bright and colorful. It did not quickly dry out.
My daughter has enjoyed using her stamps when I have pulled mine out.

This would be ok for small kids I think. My 8 yr old is not that satisfied with it. It does not come with a lid or top of any kind. The product is ok.

This was for my friend's daughters - and they already had one! :) That's how popular this little Stamp Set seems to be with girls of that age - which I would not know since I do not have children. However, from seeing them play with an identical version, I could see the fun they were having with the pencils, the stamps, the creativity that would spark for them to do something fun with the set and the quiet zoning out they were enjoying from such a quiet toy. I thought it was perfect as a gift for girls that age - and engages them in some mindful activity of drawing, creating, using color and visuals to play and interact with each other.

We have several and they all have great, durable stamps inside. More than one two-color stamp pad would be nice and we could live without the cheezy colored pencils, but it' a good vaule and the kids love to stamp and create!
Pretty Good by
I would recommend this product more to younger kids than older kids because I'm 10 and the stamp set would have been much more fun for me if I was a few years younger. But overall the Melissa and Doug stamp step was a pretty good product. The stamps turned out great and it was nice to have 2 colors instead of 1. One thing that I would have changed is the colored pencils due to being in very light colors.

stamps and ink are so expensive - but not this set! These are very nice stamps and very well made. I wish the box had a lid, but it doesn't and that's fine. My four year old daughter loves these. My only complaint is the ink, but it works well enough and we can always get a better ink pad. The stamps are great - and a great deal.

The Ink does not work at ALL!!! Stamps are cute but you will have to buy additional ink. The stamsp seem durable but like I said they colored ink is worthless.

I bought this for my 5-year old granddaughter. When it arrived the ink was dry, and even adding water didn't help. There is also no lid on the kit for ease of storage. Usually I love everything by Melissa & Doug, but this was not up to par. Very disappointing.
Purchased these as a xmas gift for toddler who is always asking for stamps to play with at home. I know she will love these. Great find and Great buy.

These stamps are great. Stamps are a great art projects for kids to do since it's not as messy as paint or other projects. These stamps are excellent quality. I love that it even comes with some colored pencils to enhance the stamp. Kids will love to put stamps on envelopes, homework, and whatever else you can think of.

I just love these stamp kits. They are fantastic presents for birthday parties. Since there are so many parties you go to during the year I only like to spend around $10. What a perfect gift for the price. The kids LOVE it.

I bought this for my 8 year old sisters birthday and she is an artsy kind of girl. Well she took it home two days after I received it and opened it to use it and the pads of ink were dried. I was surprised since the company is Melissa and Doug usually great products but this time I am not too satisfied.
Given to a 6yo girl for her birthday and she has stamped cards, drawings, wall hangings and posters for family and friends - definitely a fun and engaging pack for little girls

I purchase the Melissa & Doug Friendship Stamp Set for my 6 year old daughter. She has had lots of fun with it making cards and posters. She loves to write, so she's even made a little book with stories about each stamp. We are now looking into expanding her stamp set collection.
I purchased this for my daughter who is 3yrs old. I didn't know how well she was going to like it but it turns out that she loves it. I would recommend purchasing the seperate ink pad though because she loves to change all the different colors. And the best part of all of it is the ink is washable!! It is also fun to see her stamp and then to color in the stamp with the pencils that were included. I would definatley recommend this product.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a little girl, and it seems like a cute little craft set for small ones. I liked how none of the pieces were too small for children and all the pieces are nice quality and durable for kids. I think it was the perfect little starter craft set for any little girl and am pleased with the order.
