5Awesome 1st birthday gift by ames008

We bought this toy for our daughter's 1st birthday. She loves it. The volume isn't very loud which is good becuase she always putting it up to her as if she is calling someone. Very durable. It is a little bit more bulky than I expected so it can be hard for her to hold sometimes.

5OK by twin mom

This phone is ok. My girls love play phones and this one is there least favorite. It isn't very loud and the buttons don't push very well. I didn't find it to be very interactive. I would probably skip buying this phone.

5Not loud enough by L. Ingraham "moosebe

This the second one--same problem. Baby loves it, but sound is bearly audible. Not much learning if the sound is so faint.

5My daughter's favorite by kwhittle

My daughter has several play phones and this is her favorite, one because it looks the closest to mommy and daddy's phones but she loves all the songs it plays. The sound is very low but I love that because she holds it up to her ear all of the time and it is not going to hurt her hearing. Plus, with the volume being low it doesn't drive mommy crazy when she keeps pushing the buttons over and over again.

5Since when is a toy that is not that loud a bad thing? by JShuler

My 7 mo old daughter absolutely LOVES this phone. She was obsessed with my phone so I got her the only toy smart phone on the market. It is a little bulky and is more like a Zack Morris phone than a smart phone. That being said it keeps her entertained and every kid that she comes in to contact with can't wait to get their hands on it. Yes the volume is really low, but if you hold it to your ear (like a REAL phone) the sound is very clear.

I almost passed up on this one because of so many bad reviews. I am so glad that I decided to get it anyway. Great buy!!!

5Volume is perfect for a toy your child will be holding to his/her ear! by adorenorth

I needed a toy phone to stop my 5 Month old from gumming my iPhone (and the remote). I red reviews that said this toy is too quiet. Being a quiet person, this seemed perfect...and it is! My baby holds it up to his ear, mimicking me while I take a phone call) and his face pushes against the buttons making it sing. The volume won't mess with his sensitive hearing and the lights keep him entertained enough to not realize that he can't have my phone! Also the buttons say/sing different things when pressed multiple times, so he wont get tired of this for a while. Love this toy!

5Fun Toy by klaw "klaw"

My daughter received this as a gift for her 1st birthday. It quickly became one of her favorite toys. She tends to put any toy up to her ear like she is talking on the telephone, and I love that this actually gives her something to listen to when she does that. The fact that it is quiet encourages her to hold it close to her ear so she can hear it better - I think this is intentional, although it is a complaint of many reviewers. Each button offers different recordings, such as a weather forecast, voicemail, counting, ABC's, and the songs are very pleasant. It is bulky, but my little girl has no problem holding it to her ear with one hand.

5Smart phone by kmac

My kids love this phone!! They always want my smart phone so I got one for them. They really enjoy it. It plays fun music and rings and of course all the buttons they can push are great. Not really loud like some toys, but loud enough.

5Toy Phone by Mickey Fan

This is a great travel phone or a phone to use at home. My daughter loves pressing the buttons and dances along to the songs. She also uses it as her own personal "phone."

Serves its purpose well!

5baby iPhone by Dana Beard-Rue

I bought this toy for my son from a store and it was his favorite go-to toy for a few months. The sound output is not very loud, but that worked in our favor when he decided to move to other toys because we would leave it in his crib to play with during sleepy time. There might not be a lot of educational value to the songs and buttons, but he was still excited to push the different buttons and hear songs. Plus, when my husband and I are either using our phones or have the TV remote, we would hand him this toy and he would be happy, for a little while.

5Too big by 1128

When I purchased this toy did not realized that it was so big and bulky my daughter can not hold up to here face and behind her back to talk because it is too heavy, what were they thinking!!!!!!!

5Nothing exciting by Veronica

I bought this phone because my baby loves to play with our cell phones. The image makes it look a lot sleeker than it really is. It's pretty much the same fake-looking, bulky cell phone as the other products out there. It's cute, but my daughter really doesn't enjoy playing with it, and it certainly isn't a distraction when she's zoomed in on one of our cell phones.

5My child still prefers the real phone. by Ameet Jayawant

The only way that this toy would represent a phone is if we were living in the early 90s. It is too big, bulky and ugly. My child took one look at it and (literally) threw it away and went back to playing with a real phone. I think that I will stick to Melissa and Doug line of toys. My son loves everything that he has from M&D.

5People! It's not loud for a REASON by Bhowes67

Great, fun toy for toddlers ages 6 months to 36 months. Several people have commented that the toy is not very loud. There is a reason for this. If you've ever had your "real life" cell phone on speaker-phone and inadvertently put it against your EAR you'll know what I mean... "OUCH!" You could blow out an ear drum! Young children imitate how their parents use a phone and will hold it to their ear. The volume level of this toy is perfectly suited for this. This is a safe toy, fun, interactive, and mildly educational.

5Just wish it was louder... by Amy R. Kim "amkim"

This is a cute phone with lots of sounds & lights, but you can hardly hear it. There is no way to turn up the volume. I know some people would like that in a child's toy, but I have to strain my ears to hear what the buttons say. Overall it's still cool, but maybe a little overpriced.

5Great but sound is too soft by Casey N. Gross "Case

Great toy and my son actually prefers it over my IPHONE. I just wish sound was a little louder. Overally great product.

5Eh.... by Retro Cool

I bought this for my daughter because she is constantly grabbing my phone. Not so impressed. The volume is very low (not that every toy should be blaring) but I didn't even know it was on because it's so low. Also it's huge. My tv remote is smaller than this thing. Not that it has to be like a real phone but wasn't expecting it to be so big. I was looking for a small toy to stick in diaper bag. You are better off with that Baby Einstein handheld tunes toy.

5Cute but not loud enough..... by Timah

I bought this phone hoping that I could trick my daughter into leaving my phone alone. It's cute but the volume is too low and it didn't fool her at all.

5Very cool but very low by Jessica Fox "Bandora

This is a great toy for my son that likes playing with our smart phones, it is very big but that is a good thing, the only bad thing is that the volume is VERY low, nice for a quiet environment but hard to hear unless holding the phone to the ear.

5price by mommy2evan

This phone is twice as much the cost as it is available at Kmart! If you're looking for a deal on this phone, Amazon is not the place to find it.

5Volume by Evelyn71

The volume on this toy is so low that I am not able to hear what the phone is saying to reinforce any educational value this toy may have with my 8 month old.

5Better phones out there for your little one... by Tracy Lombardi

My 1 year old daughter loves to play phone - she has several play phones and we thought she'd love this one since it's so similar to our iPhones. The problem is that it is very thick and heavy. Also, the volume is very low and there's no way to turn it up. I would not recommend this phone to anyone looking for their little one.

5Skip buying by CharlotteMom

I am a sucker for toys and we have pretty much every thing imaginable. This phone is not worth it. Not cute, son doesn't play with it. Buttons are hard to push because they are all one big "button". so it really only does one thing. Waste.

5Not Worth It by steph

The educational value of this toy is pretty good, but the sounds are too low. You can barely hear it & theres no way to adjust the volume. It's either on or off, therefore my daughter quickly loses interest. Two days after I ordered it, I also found it at a grocery store for $2 less.

5Not very interactive by BKBURM

This "smart phone" is not very intelligent or teach much to the child. It's very quiet which is nice for the parents... but you'd expect it to be a little louder. Very strange toy- wasn't expecting it to be quite like this when I received it.

5Low volume by yacine

I recently purchased this toy for my 18 month old daughter, even changed the batteries. Sound still very low.Had to return it to the store. Do not buy it.

5A Heavy piece of JUNK by Vampz11

Our son loves the house phone and the remote control to the TV...we've tried to get him his very own for the fear of hurting himself with the grownup toys, so to speak. I found this very toy at a supermarket for a bit less. I tried like 10 of them and they all sounded too low...granted who wants a loud obnoxious toy to be blaring all the time if your kid loves it but I hardly heard it. I thought it was defective. I look in the back by its speaker and noticed that there was plastic over the grooves. I handed it to baby who was 10 months at the time and he immediately took it in for he likes pressing things. Bought it, he played with it a few more times and over looked it and still continued to hunt for the house phone. I took this thing apart to see if I can remove some of that excess plastic covering the speaker...and it went dead. I must say, it's heavy and wouldnt want to see it fly across the room if you have a child who likes to throw things. Look for something else. JUNK!

5NOT AS ADVERTISED, VERY DISTURBED CUSTOMER by Akisisa Hanley "Kiss

This phones abosuletly to big and you can hardly hear what it is saying, you are being misguided by this product dont not buy this product, I wish i saved my money and bought a next phone but at least my daughter has something to throw around!!!!!!
