5Such a great activity table! by Dawn Holder "My Baby

My son is 9 months old and just received this toy as a gift. He LOVES it! It has a lot to entertain him with, and he just loves flipping the computer open and shut. He laughs every single time.

I like that it has a few different settings that include ABCs, music, an interactive real life sounds and Spanish with English translation. My only complaint about it is that it doesn't have a volume control like so many Fisher Price toys have!! However, I really haven't been too bothered by it, as the songs aren't very long and are actually rather cute. I find myself singing along with them frequently.

I love that the ABC setting includes numbers, too. Each individual number can be pressed on the telephone. My son also has the Leap Frog Learn and Groove Musical Table, but it doesn't have a lot of the different features this table has.

I would definitely recommend this toy, it's great.

5My boy LOVES this toy. by GreatOutdoors "Great

My 9 mo boy has been playing with this every chance he gets since he was 7 mo. I also know the LeapFrog Learn & Groove(tm) Musical Table because my niece has it. I like this one better because it has a lot more going on. Both kids seem to like this one better if given their choice.

I put the legs on it immediately as he was already starting to lean on furniture, but as other reviewers note they are easy to take off (unlike the leapfrog), which is great for packing. It has been great to see him get more and more steady on his feet. He can now crab walk all around it to choose which toy he wants to use. It looks like great exercise and that is my favorite thing about the toy. of course, he fell backwards a few times while practicing his standing, but that's just in the nature of the toy: do not use unsupervised. Probably best used on carpet.

Others have complained that the computer closes hard and kids can get there fingers trapped. I have to say that although it makes a loud noise, it does not close with any force. Closing the computer with his hand in it seems to be one of my son's favorite things to do and he does it often with no indication of pain or injury. He just slides his hand right out and is in no hurry to do so.

Actually, the biggest problem is that he likes it so much it is sometimes hard to get him off it. When he does get off it and we start to get into a good game of peek-a-boo, it actually pipes up with "hey, I wanna play" and he actually leaves me to go play with it again. I guess there is a timer in it that makes it say this after it is inactive for about 30 seconds. Now I turn it off immediately when he gets off it so it will shut up. I also hide it from view for a few hours a day so that he will play with me, his other toys, visiting grandparents, etc.

Another gripe: the Spanish mode says everything in English first. Since he presses the buttons one after the other, he sometimes doesn't even hear the Spanish word. I don't understand why they need to translate everything from English, since he doesn't even speak English yet. Also, the songs are still in English. So it hardly speaks any Spanish at all. If it is very important to you that your child learn Spanish, the Leap Frog does it better.

All in all, I'm very satisfied with it. I think that it is helping him with walking. I have gotten more than my money's worth and highly recommend it.

5Great Table by E. Bylund "teacher a

My children (even the 5 and 3 year old) love this table. The songs are catchy, but if they start to get too annoying, you just switch the mode to something less noisy, such as the imagination mode where each button just makes a funny sound. In response to the first review about there being no volume control, there actually is a switch under the table that changes the volume from loud to soft.

5Fun, but worrisome by Mama Lemon

My 10 month old received this as a gift, and she's very entertained by it. The different modes provide plenty of variety. However, like another reviewer experienced, the laptop toy is easy to catch baby's hands. My little one slammed the cover down on her hand and screamed. It's too soon to tell if this will be a recurring problem, but we're keeping a close eye on things. Another concern is that the table is so light that it slides around and tips over easily. We're going to have to buy a rubber mat or something similar to make this product safer to use. It's surprising to see so many safety issues, especially some obvious ones that would have been caught in product testing.

5Great Toy and Better then Leap Frog by G. Engler

Really a fun toy, our daughter did not get it until she was around 8 months because the toys are more then just spinners and shakers (like the leap frog). We have tried the leap frog but it was to simple for our child and she has enough spinners and shakers in all her other toys like walkers, jumperoo, and exersaucers.

Our daughter just loves the phone, keyboard, book, and her fav is the computer. She loves to just open the computer and close it. She never closed the computer on her fingure and honestly its not heavy, i cant possibly see how any child can hurt themselves on it. But again, i would say this toy is better for the older child (around 8 months) since the toys are more educational and take a little bit of higher intelligency then the leap frog.

The Pros:
*The computer is awasome and our daughter just loves to close and open it and press all the buttons
*she loves the phone (rattle) that disattaches from the toy and she loves to carry it around with her. (she loves it more then any toy we have but see "cons")
*she like flippin the book pages
*she also enjoys the keyboard.
*i like that it has "words options and musical options", thats fun to change it up. We are not quite to the "spanish" options but i am sure we will use it later since we hope our child speaks multiple languages.
* legs are easy to take off
* sturdy enough for her to pull herself up on.
* easy to clean
* batteries last a long time

Cons:
*our baby misplaces the phone (rattle) and we have to find it all the time (wish it was attached by a phone cord but maybe they dont do that because it could be dangerous.
*after playing with the computer our daughter learned that all computers open and close, which includes mommys and daddys real laptops. But i guess i didnt expect anything different.

Overall, great toy and we really love it.

5Great for infants not at all for walking toddler-step stool! by Jeremy

I purchased this when my child was 6 months old. At six months, the legs come off and it's nice for him to roll over to and around and play with on the ground. It helped with sitting up and everything. I was worried about the phone being a rattle and it was small. I also knew that with Fisher Price it probably has BPA in the rattle so I threw the phone part out which I am thankful I did.

around 9 months of age this helped him with standing. Still he liked it and it was playable.

Around 12 months of age my child could move the toy. He thought it was a great step stool also. At this point, the toy was a danger to my child. (we at this point gave it to a friend to play with that is much younger.) I am not sure why this age goes up to 3 years of age as we can not use and haven't been using it since my child has been walking.

UPDATE Aug. 2011- The person I gave this toy to has given it back to me as her daughter is using it as a step stool just like my child did at around 12 months of age. My child is now 2 and tends to not use it as a step stool anymore. He doesn't even care about this toy anymore. I would strongly urge parents to purchase books that light up, mega blocks and other toys over this item for any child over twelve months of age.

5pinched fingers by St. Louis Illini

My 7-month old absolutely adores this table. Unfortunately, however, her favorite thing to do is slam shut the computer screen, and she has crushed her fingers in the back ("hinge") area of the computer several times (which, unlike the front and sides of the computer, is small enough to painfully pinch tiny fingers when closed). We've ended up taping the monitor shut. She does enjoy playing with the rest of the table too (especially the piano) and hopefully once her hands get a little bigger, we can put the computer part back in use.

5Great improvements by Kelly

We had the old version of this table with the food that my kids loved and just received this new version as a gift. It's even better than the first. There is much more for them to do and it's a little bit taller than the older one which is great because it's easier for my tall 3 year old to play with her younger sister with it.

5Requires parental supervision by Mandi

The toy is alright, probably comprable to other similar tables (it really comes down to which features and styles catch the parent's eye). After owning this, I would never invest in another table toy - I think it's a waste of money and fairly dangerous.

PROS: Offers a variety of modes, from speaking to sounds to music (in English and Spanish). The volume isn't too too loud (you can still hear a TV with it playing).

BEST USES: Babies learning to stand - at that stage just before walking

CONS: Tips over, book and laptop smash baby fingers - Parent MUST closely supervise

WOULD I RECOMMEND: NO

Several times my son tried to pull to a standing position using the table, only to have it fall over ontop of him. He would fall back and smash the back of his head on the floor and the table would fall onto him and smash his face. Probably this is an issue with all table-style toys, not just this particular model.

I didn't like that I couldn't leave the table on the floor with my son if I had to walk away for a moment. The toy was useless without legs, it is too heavy to place on baby's lap and is awkward for a baby sitting on the floor to lean over to play with as they typically sit with their legs open in front of them - they would have to bend past their toes to touch the toy.

As my son was learning to stand, he would sometimes lose his balance and end up getting his fingers caught in the laptop (which he loved to open, then slam shut) and the book (he enjoyed the sound of the page turning as he turned pages). These are features unique to this toy, so you may want to consider a model that doesn't have items that can open and shut.

Now that my son is a year old and can more safely use the toy (doesn't smash his fingers), he is completely uninterested in it. I would be disappointed if I had purchased this myself, but it was a gift.

5Great however... by Girlchez "Chez"

Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn My Busy Day Table

Our daughter loved this toy from the start as did we. Things seemed to go sour after the pretend computer monitor snapped shut on her fingers. Luckily she has two hands and the likelihood of both of them getting stuck at the same time is slim.
I am just surprised nobody at Fisher-Price noticed this could be a potential problem.
As long as your baby has 10 fingers to work with, I say overall it's a good toy.

5Great toy, but not very sturdy by Myndful

I purchased this toy for my 11 month old triplets about a month ago. They LOVE all the toys on top, the music, the lights...the tabletop portion is absolutely wonderful, with one exception.

As someone else mentioned, the laptop portion can easily be pulled down onto little fingers. To be fair, this doesn't happen frequently, but when it does, you know it because you can hear the screaming a mile away. However, that is just something to watch out for, and not the end of the world.

My more substantial complaint is the sturdiness of the legs, or lack thereof. They are very thin cheap plastic and while the hold the table up, they do not assist in keeping it still. My children, whether playing with it together or individually, have trouble with it because if they lean on it even slightly, it slides. In order to play with it without frustration, you have to put it up against a wall leaving one side more difficult to access. There are other activity tables out there in the same price range with stabler legs. I wish I had gotten one of those.

5A great toy for any baby that wants to stand and play by Shawn Kaltenberg

My boy was beginning to stand and I wanted a good toy for him. After doing the research, I decided that the Fisher Price standing toy was the best of the bunch. My boy loves flipping the book page and computer open and closed. It has several songs to play, an English only mode, a spanish mode so your child can learn English and Spanish together, a music mode, and a sound effects mode. By far my boy's favorite toy. He smiles and dances to the music all the time, even after a couple of months of playing with it. No issues with tipping over, but it is light enough to be pushed around, even on carpet. Bottom line, there is no substitute for PARENTAL SUPERVISION! But this is a great toy and worth the price. Only con I can think of is it would be nice if the book had more than one page to flip. Everything else is good and sturdy.

5Has held up to twins and triplets by brwn_eyed_sue

I purchased this table when one of my twins was learning to stand up and wasn't progressing as quickly as her sister. The physical therapist suggested it. Of all the tables I looked at, I felt this had the most engaging activities on it. It was a great tool to help motivate my baby to stand on her own.
I also babysit triplets during the day and this has been a great toy for them. I sometimes take off the legs and sit it on their laps so each one has an activity to do. It can accommodate several children at once which is a bonus!!!
Even older toddlers like this. It's still working and has held up to lots of play.
The only thing that is annoying is that the legs are fairly easy for a child to remove and carry around. Other than that, we've been very pleased with our purchase.

5Many Uses by J. Baker

My son is developmentally delayed (18 mos old and is not sitting) and sees a physical therapist weekly. She was excited when she saw that we had this toy and started showing my husband and I how it could be incorporated into his therapy. Our faveorite thing to do right now is to only attach two of the legs and position it so that it is like an A frame. The toys on it distracts him and he loves to try to reach for the toys at the top while he works on his trunk muscles, motor control as well as fine motor control. He loves to open and close the book and laptop and is just now getting to where he will press the buttons instead of lightly tap them. I think he prefers the musical over the learning aspects of the toy but we are getting there ;)

5lots of entertainment by happymomma

This toy is great for my 11 month old. She loves to stand around it and play wtih the different toys. When she gets distracted it makes noise and lights up to get her attention again. She really likes opening and closing the "laptop". I was worried that it was not that steady at first, so kept the legs off, but once I added them back she is more interested. One negative is the unattached phone rattler. It is always lost.

5Table is educational and fun! by KJB Family "KJB"

No complaints about this toy. It is educational, fun, and grabs our son's attention. We've had this toy for almost a year and my son (nearly 2) still enjoys it. If you want to invest in a nice, durable, fun gift, then I highly recommend this toy.

5My son loves it! by Victor C. Cenusa

My son loves this toy. He actually spends time and play with it.
the price is decent, music ok, nice colors.

5Great activity table by R. Chauhan "Chauhan

My son really enjoys this activity table. He was able to cruise around the table at seven months of age, and he likes all four stations of play. Now he's ten months old and he pushes the table around the hard floors in our house... not really what it was designed for, but lots of fun. He opens and closes the laptop, and he loves to move the mouse up and down... the noise is a little annoying when he really gets going, but what child's toy doesn't wear on a parent's ears with repetition. The only thing close to a design flaw is that the telephone handset is completely free of the table, and we're constantly losing it. I understand any sort of tethering would be a strangulation hazard, and I don't have a suggestion to improve, I just wanted to note that our little purple phone is constantly lost. Otherwise this is one if his favorite toys and I recommend it without reservation!

5Fantastic Toy! by Hukam's Mom

I bought this for my son when he was only 4 months and he loved the music, lights and bright colors. This musical table is really educational, and I honestly like all the songs and music. I haven't put the legs on yet, but will once he is old enough. This is my #1 must have toy, my son plays with it for HOURS!!!

5One busy bee by Boston Mama

We first discovered this product over at a friend's house. Her son who is 2, just loved it. I bought it for our 11 month old, and she loves it too. She keeps herself busy with opening and closing the laptop, answering the phone, and pushing all of the buttons. Her favorite setting is the music. I do think it's helping her prepare to walk, as she now stands on her own without really supporting herself. We bought one for our house, and buying another one for my parents' house. It's that good!

5We LOVE this toy! by

I bought this for my son when he was six months old and have had it for four months. We are STILL discovering new songs and sounds. This keeps his attention and has what seems like hundreds of sounds. This my child's go-to toy whenever he gets bored with anything else. I had originally intended to buy the Leap Frog table because I see so many great reviews for it, but bought this one when I found it second hand, and now we like it so much we wouldn't trade it for any other activity table in the world. I thoroughly recommend this toy!

5Fantastic toy! by Bethany Bergan

I bought this table for my daughter's first birthday, and she absolutely loves it. She plays with it constantly.

It has many different and realistic play sounds that make this activity table a lot of fun, but what surprised me most was the sheer number of different songs the table plays. Super variety, excellent sound quality and a lot of fun.

5Great purchase! by Baxter

I got one of these second hand and my son absolutely loves it. I think it's really well designed from an educational standpoint as well. There are 4 settings: English language, Spanish, music, and one other (I forget the last one). I studied classical music and I'm very selective about the kind of music we plan in the home, and I was impressed by the music this toy plays. The piano sounds real, and the musical arrangements are interesting. Except for the "Busy Busy Busy" song, I don't mind hearing the songs over and over, as is unavoidable with a toy like this. The volume is also a plus...not too loud or shrill. It plays a variety of musical styles (classical, world music, traditional popular songs. As you can see, we keep it on the music setting all the time. My son is 11 months old and he plays with this several times a day. We've had it for a month and he hasn't gotten tired of it.

5Laugh & Learn Table, Tons of fun! by Jeremy "Dadadada

Our son has had the Laugh & Learn Table for a few months now. It was recommended by another mother, a friend of ours, and he absolutely loves it.

The table comes with removable legs, which were perfect before he was standing. It has four stations. A telephone, a plastic "book", a computer and a four key keyboard.

We didn't have the problem some other reviewers had with the laptop screen closing on little fingers. He does love to open and close it though, and Fisher Price programmed the device to make noise or music (depending on the setting you have on) each time the laptop is opened, which is great for auditory stimulation. There is a small mouse attached to the device next to the laptop as well which sounds off each time it is nudged.

Regarding settings, the table has four different programmed audio sets. "Learning Time!" which consists of letters, shapes, colors, numbers and a few animals. "Lets Learn Spanish!" encourages bi-lingual learning (which in my opinion is a benefit for any child). "Its Music Time!" plays various songs depending on what station the child is at and "Lets Play!" which makes all of the buttons into "functional" type button sounds. The phone in that mode, for instance, makes phone button sounds as though he was on an actual phone.

The main complaint I have is that when the legs go on, the device is easily moved across certain types of flooring. For new standers, it can easily slide out from in front of them.

With the music, lights and sounds, this table is a great learning and fun tool for young children. I could see us stocking up on batteries just for this one alone!

5Daughter loves this toy - wish FP sold replacement phones by Brannan Villee "Bran

My 10-Month Old daughter absolutely loves this toy. There are multiple play settings, so I'm confident she will enjoy playing with the table for a while. There are more activities than the Leap Frog equivalent, and more things to push and pull. She likes to open and close the laptop, but we have not had any problems with pinched fingers (she's closed it on her hand before and it didn't hurt her).

Her favorite part is the rattle phone. My biggest complaint is that Fisher-Price doesn't offer replacement parts, so you can't buy another one. I understand that it can't be attached to the table(strangulation hazard), but my daughter loves playing with it so much and likes to throw it, so it often gets lost. I wish we could buy extras. Unfortunately, our rattle phone is currently MIA.

I also wish that there were rubber feet on the legs. This table slides unless you position it next to a piece of furniture. The Leap Frog table, while not as cool, does have rubber feet on the legs, so it doesn't slide when my daughter leans on it.

Overall, we are very happy with this toy and I would purchase it again. However, I wish FP would offer more "phones" for purchase. We would buy them in a heartbeat.

5Center of attention! by C. D. Kendrick "ChDe

My baby received this toy when she was around 7 months old. She has not quit playing with it yet! She loves every aspect of it. I usually keep it on music time and she dances and sings to it. She is almost 12 months old now, and she still loves it. All of the nieces and nephews that visit want to play with the table also. This is the best toy I have ever gotten for my little girl.

5Very stimulating and fun toy for little ones. by Mockingbird "mocking

I like this toy very much. It has so much going on and my granddaughter loves the music and other vocals in it. She is still a little wobbly standing up but becomes so engrossed in the toy that she forgets and stands there playing holding on to nothing. There is just so much that this toy does and its very sturdy. *****

5My baby loves this! by Sept Girl "Sept Girl

I purchased this table after my daughter played with a similar one at her cousin's house. She loves this table and plays with it everyday. It keeps her very entertained - you can choose which option to keep it on; music, learning, spanish, etc. and this keeps her from getting bored easily. We purchased this when my baby was about 10 months and I can see her playing with this table for many many more months.

As for the durability we keep it on the carpet so it doesn't move when my baby tries to push it - on the wood floor it does move when she leans on it too much, but it's fine on the carpet. A great buy!

5great educational gift by Di Di

grandson loves it keeps him very happy and since he is walking he loves to move around and around the table!!

5Lots of entertainment, options for fun by Melissa Watson

My husband and I did a lot of research to find a great first Christmas toy for our (at the time) 8 month old daughter. We decided on this table, and it hasn't let us down. There are several different options to choose from - learning, music, etc. And the table top is full of buttons to push, pages to turn, and things that light up. Our daughter can just go around and around it, trying everything. It's also a great feature that the legs come off (and very easily, too), because she can't stand very well yet, so this gives her the option of playing with it while sitting. The table seems to be very sturdy - the four legs support it well. I would highly recommend this toy for any young child.

5SUPER toy for our 18 month old son! by Marilyn "DivaMomma"

I picked this up for our 18-month old son after seeing it at a kid's shoe store (we were almost unable to pry him away from the toy at the mall he was so intrigued and entertained) It was the top Xmas gift this year with our toddler and by far a huge winner. It has enough variety and multiple settings (music, ABC's, etc) that it keeps him interested for long periods of time - which in our house is a RARITY. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

5Lots to do! by Nathan's Mommy

We got this toy for less than half this price at a certain well known yellow-smiley-face store (hint hint). I thought about getting this for my son for a long time but never got it for some reason. Then last week we decided we needed a fun toy for Nana's house so I finally decided to buy this. It is so cute! I found my self pushing all the buttons to hear the different sounds and songs (which there are well over 50!). My mom is really sensitive to annoying toy noises and I was afraid she wouldnt want to keep this toy at her house but she actually sings along with the songs and dances to them with my son. All the songs are pretty fun and I like that there are so many buttons and different songs and sounds so you dont get annoyed from hearing the same one over and over. My son loves this toy. He likes to put flat objects in the computer and close it like a waffle iron then open it and take them back out, over and over again... too cute. (he is 16 months).

5wobbily by droid_girl

It is a great toy but not sturdy. When my 10 month year old leans on it (as he needs support to stand) the table moves, does not stay put.

5Holds her interest! by Chris

There are so many ways for this table to be used, and it really holds our 9 mo. old's interest. There is a music mode, a sounds mode, a letters/numbers/colors mode and spanish mode, with plenty of intriguing lights and sounds. She'll circle the table trying everything.

The table is certainly stable, but a little lightweight. If you son/daughter is mobile and curious, you might find them pushing it around as a walker. At first that had us concerned, but the table hasn't failed her.

5Depends on your baby's personality by T. "T-girl"

I just purchased this toy from Amazon about one month ago for my then 8-month old son. I thought it looked like a great toy and was swayed by all of the positive recommendations on this site. He is now 9 months old and has had one full month to play with it.

Major points:

PROS:
(1) Very cute toy - has a laptop, phone, book, and piano; seems more modern than other brand tables
(2) 4 different modes, including Spanish, music and alphabet modes.
(3) Colorful, plays a good variety of songs; Songs are cute and catchy.
(4) Moving parts: my son enjoys opening and closing the lap top, and turning the page of the book (yes, PAGE, not PAGES). He also enjoys shaking the phone rattle and chewing on it.

CONS:
(1) The legs are not very sturdy; my son can easily push this thing over when leaning on it. I have ended up removing the legs and placing it on an ottoman propped against a wall for more stability.
(2) Phone: it is not attached and easily lost. I understand that for safety reasons they probably did not want to have a cord, but I would think a short string could have kept the phone attached and still avoided strangulation issues.
(3) Laptop: my son has not slammed his fingers in this yet, but I could see how this could happen.
(4) Book: ONLY 1 Page for him to turn!!! Why not add more pages?

OVERALL:
My son is not really into battery-operated toys in general, so he is indifferent to all the lights and music. He enjoys moving parts (like toy cars), so he has fun opening and closing the laptop, and then moving the page of the book. He also enjoys shaking the rattle on the phone and chewing on it, but ignores all the buttons of the phone, as well as pushing the keys of the piano. He only gets at most 10 minutes of play time out of this, before he moves onto his toy cars.

BOTTOM-LINE: Good toy if your baby enjoys battery-operated toys with lights and music, but not worth the money if your baby is more mechanically-inclined and likes moving parts. Stick with toy cars.

5Excellent purchase! by Savy Shopper

I ordered this product here for shipping to Canada to have the second language be Spanish rather than French and it was worth it. Fabulous product! Keeps not only my one year old but also my three year old entertained for good chunks of time. My one year old has played with this every day since we got it and we're not too tired of the music yet (although there isn't a volume control) as the various settings let's us change it up. Excellent purchase!

5Great toy for the just learning to pull up crowd.... by MED "constantly read

I bought this to have at the house for my grandson - when he was seven months old. Great toy for that age group - just starting to crawl, walk, pull themselves up. Love the option to turn off the sound - though admittedly the babies love the noise. Very stable, design makes it possible to withstand the pulling up without tipping over. Also very washable - a must for this age group.

5Very Good Activity Table by Benjamin P. Boyt "Bi

My daughter has this activity table at her grandparents. It is probably her favorite.

The features are as follows:
1) Lots of sounds and buttons which delights the little ones
2) A solid aid to standing
3) The little phone that acts as a rattle is quite a hit (though it can be tough to track down)

5An unexpected surprise! by B. Harrington "veryh

My son is ten months old and "cruising" but not yet walking. We bought this toy because it had good reviews and looked fun for him.
We started with the legs on, but after he "climbed" up the toy and fell over a few times the legs were removed. So, as the other reviews said - if your kiddo isn't walking yet leave the legs off.
The second week we had the toy, my son did slam the laptop lid down on his fingers. He isn't old enough to understand cause and effect to that detail, so he didn't understand that by pushing down on the lid with his other hand he was causing himself more pain. He screamed and cried, but got over it quickly. It hasn't happened again (2 weeks later) so think he learned his lesson... This is a silly reason not to buy the toy. It didn't amputate his finger. It just hurt a little.
I didn't like that the phone wasn't attached, but for about a week it was all my son teethed on - so it ended up working out nicely. Now it is lost in the "black hole" of toys... but who cares!? He doesn't and it's his toy.
When we removed the legs, we stacked them and set them by the door to be put up later. However, my son found them first (there's nothing unsafe about them). My son loves the legs almost more than the toy. He bangs on them like a drum. He uses one to hit another and thinks the loud bang is great. We play "swords" with them.
The mode switch is right on the top so my son constantly plays with it. I wish they had placed the switch in a less conspicuous spot... I find this to be a design flaw. Eventually, the baby will wear the switch out. They're not rated to that kind of abuse. I don't mind the Spanish mode. I found it a little offensive others complained about it, and I am as white as you can be. :-) I mean, it's 2011. Diversity is in. Get over it.
Overall, it's a cute toy. Reasonably priced. The few gripes I have are smaller than the overall satisfaction with the toy, so I recommend it.

5The Little One LOVES it! by mstyblu1 "misty"

This is my third time around with activity tables in the last 12 years. This table has to be my favorite yet. My 8 month old enjoys it too! :)

There are two reasons why I didn't give it a 5 star overall rating. Number one is that the table is so light that it slides away as my little guy is trying to pull himself up to it, so I always have to put one side of it against the couch.

The second reason is that the phone has no cord. I understand that you have to avoid a strangulation hazard but the size of the handset encourages my little one (and others too I'm sure) to chew on it. With the added distraction of chewing and the table sliding he has fallen with the phone in his mouth. It has become too scary to leave the little handset there while he plays with the table. I would encourage FP to put even a 4-5 inch "cord" on future models of this little phone.

I do love this toy and encourage parents to get it but leave the phone for floor playtime!
