517 month old LOVES it! by LittleZenBargains

My 17 month old loves this. She has the Busy Poppin Pals toy as well, but this is MUCH easier to operate. I think it's simply adorable! When the bugs pop up they shake like bobble heads! Each button/switch makes a different sound. The bugs are very colorful, silly, and have different textures. It's a great way to entertain your toddler without needing batteries. This is a must have toy for car trips!

5Works Well, Durable by Ben C.A. Nettle

This toy is well built and definitely durable.

The little heads pop up when the lever, switch, dial, or button in front of them is activated. Each one makes a different noise (ping, click, etc.) and has a different method to pop up, so it gives our 10 month old a variety of methods to learn. She's able to pop them down again and do it again, and no batteries are required, so it's all baby power. It seems to keep her interest for quite a while, and overall we're pretty happy with it. Occasionally, if one of the switches gets positioned just right, you can't pop the head with it back down until you adjust the switch again, but this doesn't happen very often.

The biggest downside I can think of (which has nothing to do with the toy itself) is that because of how easy it is for her to get a hold of, she occasionally picks it up and slams it against the floor when playing with it. So it is definitely durable, as it has taken quite a beating and works just fine.

5Good but it's no classic by K. Seibert "new mum"

It's a fun toy. The heads that pop up stick sometimes so it's a little confusing when my daughter pushes the buttons and nothing happens. I will say a major CON is this toy is very "cheap." I was expecting a solid toy like in the old days but this plastic is very thin and light. You can instantly tell it's not the same quality a toy you would have purchased 20 years ago. I'm definitely dissapointed in this aspect, and if I had known, I probably would have purchased it. However it wasn't worth sending it back.

5Cute Pop Up Toy by Amanda L. Davis

My baby has 3 different pop up toys because she loves them. This one is cute and easy for her to manipulate. My only complaint is that the first switch on the left and the third one are very sensitive. You barely have to touch them. They make noises only if slid all the way, so I wish they weren't so touchy so my baby would have to do that.

5Peek-a-boo by Dancin' Girl

My daughter (1-year old) enjoys this toy if I'm playing with her. She doesn't normally just play with it on her own. Her big brother (3) actually enjoys it as much as she does. He likes to see how fast he can pop up all four bugs and push them back down. Therefore...I can tell you it's very durable. Cute toy though!

5Colorful by >

Purchased for my 6 month old grandson. He liked touching the buttons and the noises - it will take a while for him to understand how to "reset" the characters so they pop up again. He seems to enjoy the bright colors and already understands that moving or pushing the buttons makes the "bugs" respond.

54 month old loves this toy by StressandRest

Our son loves this simple, colorful, engaging toy. He's had it about a month, so 4-5 months old is not too early. We hold it and he works the buttons. I can see him loving this at least for a year. The toy is also very durable and was inexpensive.

5Great developmental toy!! by Cheryl

I got this for my 17 month old after he loves playing with a similar toy from a kid we babysit. I wish I had gotten it sooner (10 month old maybe?). It's a great developmental/educational toy. Once they learn how to twist, slide, push, they feel so proud of themselves. :) I bought it anyway even though he already knew how to function all four areas of the toy just because he finds it find when the characters pops up, then pushes back down just to do it all over again!

Great learning toy to start with younger babies. :)

5Cute and funy by J. Kempf

This toy is nice, but not quite as nice as the kind where the lids pop open. It feels a bit cheaper and a little more breakable. The kind with the lids creates a little more fun as the characters pop out. My son has enjoyed this one, but I think he likes the other kind a little more.

5Great for learning by pasoul

I bought this for my nieces and they seem to like it. They are a bit young for it though, they just turned 1. I think they'll probably enjoy it more once they know the function of the buttons. This toy is a classic!
