This was given as a gift to my daughter. She is not very artistic but does love to draw little pictures inside notebooks. I had no idea this would captivate her interest the way it has. She received it 2 weeks ago and she still pulls it out daily to draw. She has almost filled the book and wants us to copy the pages so she can color more. I think that what makes it so wonderful are the vast number of sturdy stencils that make it easy for her to draw in a way she would not otherwise be capable of. There are large faces to work on make up, large feet for shoe designs and lots of the dreaded brat like figures (since they are not actually the bratz dolls I will deal with it.)
The execution of this book is great. The front and back cover are colorful flexible plastic (very sturdy). There seem to be endless combinations of thin, sturdy plastic stencils for designing to her hearts content.

This is the second one of these pads we've ordered. My 12-yr-old daughter is a budding fashion designer, and this is her favorite "canvas" on which to create her designs. We've tried several other design pads, but this is her top choice.
Fun and easy by Jennifer M. Stevens
I got this for my 7 year old daughter. It is an amazingly ingenious product. It includes stencil sheets of clothes that can be placed over a simple drawing of a Bratz-like girl. Includes ideas for patterns and accessories. Really fun and entertaining. Has many pages of girls to dress. I want to get my daughter all of these books because this one has been wonderful!
My daughter got this as a present at her 7th birthday party and absolutely LOVES it. Even my 4 year old enjoys trying it out. Even I think it's fun:) Like another reviewer, I'm not a Bratz fan and wish the girls didn't have that look. However, the stencil choices are tasteful and pretty not trashy. It has brought her hours of fun. I wish it was possible to buy additional pages, without paying for the stencils again but she makes do with her own rudimentary people and uses the stencils on blank paper too. Even so, I think I might buy her another tablet because she enjoys it so much.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. She loves it. I think its better suited for older kids. A six year old could have fun with it but its geared more towards older children. My daughter takes it with her in the car on the weekends. I love that the model heads are multicultural with different hairstyles. Overall its worth the money.

Bought this for Christmas for my 8 year old daughter who loves to draw. It was her favorite gift and the least expensive one. She spend hours designing outfits and picking colors. The stencils are great. Not a single complaint. Absolutely loved it. It works great with creativity. Would highly recommend.

I got this for my 6-yr old artistically-inclined niece and she LOVED it. But not at first. She was spoiled with a large collection of fancy, trendy and loud toys so a few hours went by where this portfolio was tucked away and ignored while Zhu Zhu Pets zipped around on the floor and faces were buried in Nintendo DS Pokemon games. But once the batteries wore down on her Go Go My Walking Pup, she sat down, opened up the Pink Art Complete Artist Portfolio Set that I also got her and started designing outfits until the wee hours of the night. The next morning, she forgot she had other toys and played with this exclusively.
It's obviously fun but it's educational too. As an artist, I've been wanting to develop her technical skills with projects that are more advanced than what she gets in school but not as sophisticated as a classical atelier. This was a perfect median. I think it helps her develop a good instinct for color and texture as well as drawing with slightly more realism with the aid of stencils.
Very cool idea! I gave this to my daughter for Christmas last year (she was 7) and it is fabulous. It allows the kids to create from scratch (which my daughter more than use the stencils) or use the stencils. My only complaint is the way the stencils hook back into the book - it was kind of a pain because they didn't seem to be universal, they have to be facing the correct way to fit right.
loves every single one of these Fashion Angel Design Sketch books. And I find them pretty fun too. It is an activity we can do together.She likes to compete with me for best design. She is usually peeking at mine and then somehow when we are all done her's is the better version. In my defense, I color better. ;)
The one thing I don't like are the stencils. They are floppy, hard to trace and they get all stuck together.
Then they have to be untangle.
I suggest they have a storage place or your kid will be spending a long time getting them back into
the book where they were to begin with. I suppose they could take one at a time out, but that would be
rather tedious.
I added 3 stars to the educational line because it does allow her to explore her creative side. But this might not seem education to some parents if there children just enjoy it because its alot of fun. My daughter aspires to be some designer of sorts.
She designs rooms, outfits, makeup, accessories.. etc. ( in the other books )

Fun for 7 year old and friends by ntg
I bought this for my 7 year old daughter. She loves it and so do her friends. She's gotten hours of entertainment out of designing the different girls clothing. I'll probably get her the rock band version next since she likes music too.
I bought this set for my granddaughter to use during her recovery period from surgery. She loved it! She is constantly drawing many new designs.

Fashion Design Portfolio by Grandma
I purchased this item for my 10-year old granddaughter's birthday. She has several other portfolios and loves them all. She enjoys being creative and making wonderful designs. She colors the clothes and arranges unusual items together as a designer should. They are cute and her imagination can run wild.
A must have for budding designers. My girl LOVES it and so does all the kids who use it. We copied the pages before she used them so we would have extras.

It's not easy to know what's going to make a hit with a girl who's moving through stages as quickly as I can click the television remote. This item, however, was a hit. Not only with the ten year old but with her mom who cares deeply about wholesome, educational, and creative toys. An option that doesn't need electricity, and she loves it. How rare. Well worth the price.

I was a bit skeptical about this book but once my daughter got it, she loved it. It comes with plenty of stencils and predrawn body forms so she can creat clothes in any combination. Ultimately glad I purchased the book.

Purchased this for my 7 year old daughter!! The recommended ages are from 8-15 but she definitely loves it!!! If you have a daughter that loves art or to draw this product is awesome!!! There are many stencils to choose from and plenty of variety. Children can be very creative! Out of all the Christmas toys (including a trampoline) my daughter played with this the most!!! Highly recommend!!!

Ordered the fashion design portfolio for our little 6 year old granddaughter. She LOVES it! They are very inclusive of drawing aids and she loves to create with the stencils etc. I think it's a great tool for little ones interested in art, drawing, design etc!

Overall, very creative set with high interest for my 7 year old who is into fashion these days. Good value too. Stencils can be a bit annoying as they are hard for 7 year old to put back in book without some help.

I bought this on one of our family vacations and was a huge let down to me, as I was so excited to stencil on the clothes to my 'models'. But I drew instead of using the stencils so it wasn't terrible, but I expected a little more.

I received this today, and it's the wedding version, not the fashion one that's listed on here. I'm very disappointed as this is for a 10 year old and I thought it would be fun for her to draw/color fashion, not a wedding party. Seriously, she's 10. Very disappointed.
