Perfect gift for boys by M. Guerrero "Momica"
I bought this game for my 5 year old son for Christmas, and we (including my 3 year old son), play it almost every night. He had played the original chutes and ladders with a friend, but didn't care too much about it, but throw in some superheros, and they make EVERYTHING so much more fun! I love that you can change out the superheros to be whoever you want, which I keep at least 2 in each slot, that way they can be guys at once. I would recommend this game is any boy that loves superheros, 3 years and up.
Super hero fun by A. Malik "Babies Mam
Our 3 year old son loves super heros but he's a little young for most of the cartoons and related toys. this is a cute "toddler friendly" way to play with spider man and his friends. when we "play" its usually just to see who can race to the end the quickest but he's starting to get the concept of waiting his turn and only moving a certain number of spaces. he loves playing with the pieces even when not playing the game
I've got a four year old who loves the original version of this game, but this was a HUGE hit as he is into everything Marvel. Adding the superhero twist to the game really bolsters the imagination and enjoyment of the game!
Super Fun by D. Kentner "bubbas m
My 3yo just got this for his birthday. Over the weekend we have played it at least once every hour. He loves it! I highly recommend it. Very educational for those learning to count and those learning to win/lose at games.
Three year old boy's dream by L. Callis
Very fun for our three year old who is very into counting right now even though he does get bummed out by the slide down ;)
Nice Variation on an Old Theme but Incomplete by bract "bract"
Game hasn't changed but the movable pieces have. While there are 8 superheros, there are only 4 plastic holders provided for the cardboard inserts that represent the characters and permit them to be used in the game. This means the fragile carboard inserts are subject to loss or damage if not in a holder. It is also inconvenient for adults to swap them and probably not possible to be done by small kids. Very disappointing that another 4 plastic holders were not provided considering the price of the game. This deficiency is responsible for my low overall rating and I won't be buying any more games from this manufacurer either.
Super hero lovers unite! by Ron Baer
Great spin on a classic. My boy and girl twins (5 years old) both love this game. One thing to be aware of is that there are so many graphics on the board that it can make it confusing to count the squares/spaces as you move along. It took both of my kids awhile to adjust to this, so this might take a bit more patience at first than the classic game. Overall a great game - but why they only include one female super hero (Phoenix) when there are so many more badass female heroes out there baffles me. Get with the program Hasbro and realize little girls love super heroes and villains, too!
gave this as a gift to the ring bearer for my wedding & we played it as soon as he unwrapped it...had a great time and he got to practice his numbers! :)
Great, if we can own it longer than 1-7 days by Melissa Willis
We bought it twice because my older son has a negative behavior of ripping things up like crazy! The first lasted a week or so, the second was ripped the day we got it! My younger son loves superheroes and I really wanted to teach him to follow directions in his own interests...we may purchase again.
Great game for little ones n helps with numbers n counting! by Vegasmomof3boys
Bought it for my 3 boys... They love it and I love playing it with them. Starts them with numbers and counting. My oldest does get a little competitive with it... Great game for boys that are into super hero's... Pretty durable and the characters are great!
