I got these for my son when he was 4 months old and it was instantly his favorite toy. It was the only toy that his weak and uncoordinated grasp could master and I particularly love the padded links because they were gentler on his gums. At 6 months they still remained a favorite because they were the perfect teething toy. I highly recommend this product. You can get it much cheaper at your local Target or Walmart, though. They're also great for attaching toys to the stroller, car seat, etc. so they can be used on a regular basis even after your child is no longer interested in playing with them.
Great Product, Way Overpriced Here! by Marcy "Marcy"
These are incredibly useful. I use them to attach various toys to my baby's swing, carseat, etc. I use them in temple attached to a toy so that when he drops it, the toy doesn't fall to the floor and I just reel it back in. He even loves the rings without any other toys, and will endlessly chew on them.
That said, I bought this exact same product in my local Target for $4.99. Not on sale either.
Update: When I wrote this review these were selling on amazon for more than $15! It seems the price here has become more reasonable.
Beware - item not as described by A_Mom
As with another commenter, the set I received did not have the 6 soft coated rings that are pictured here and specifically promised in the description. When I went to try to exchange it, Amazon would only let me return it since they only allow exchanges if the problem is due to their error and, apparently, they don't count "item not as described" as an error on their part. I am disappointed with both the item and Amazon's customer service.
I like the links, but when my package came, it is different from the picture. Mine doesnt have the last row of links shown on the picture( the one with different texture, kind of rubbery ) , I got all in the hard plastic material. I like the vivid color , but disappointed with not having different texture. It's so much work to exchange it. so give it a 2.
Item is NOT as described! by Mom of Two
As others have stated, the 6 over molded teething links were not included. Also, they are poorly made. They seem as if they'll break or bend easily. I'm disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend them.
Missing links, product not as shown. by J. Boyd
I purchased this item because it had lots of links and my son loves links. When I got the item, as with some other reviewers here, I only recieved the top three rows of links shown in the picture, not the differnt colored items on the bottom row of the picture. Happy with the links I got. They are flimsier than other links but they are cheap so I don't expect much. I do expect the picture to match the product however. This product has so many positive reviews and stars that I guess this is a recent problem. Also some of the customer pictures show the special links, so maybe the product has changed. This should be shown in the product description but so far it isn't. Be warned, you will not get what is pictured. If all you want is the basic links then they are fine, but you don't get the special rubbery ones.
Baby's favorite toy!! by Deborah
I almost never write reviews, but I can't say enough about these links. We actually got them as a gift before my baby was even born, and then bought another full set for $5 at Target, we can't get enough of these! My baby loves loves loves them! When she was a newborn we jangled them and she was fascinated, and then really quickly she began to grab for them and even grasp them. Now we have them everywhere. We attach them to the car seat, to the bars of the crib, to the mobile above her swing so she can grab the links and swing the mobile around, and we use them to attach other toys to playmat arcs, car seat handles, baby carriers, everything. Inexpensive and indispensable.
I got these to help attach toys to carseats, etc. They are kind of flimsy and come de-linked very easily, so toys still wind up on the ground. That being said, my child still likes playing with them.

These are my favorite links, because you get lots of links for the price. The different textures provide lots of choices for teething, and the links are the right size to fit all the toys with loops that I have tried. Their oval shape means that they don't separate very easily. There are some unusual colors so it makes a wonderful expansion set if you already have other links. Great choice!

There is a reason why you will always see these things in baby sections of stores or websites. Babies LOVE them. They love to clap them together, pull toys with them, use them to attach toys to things so they don't fall on the ground, or simply just chew on them. I bought these for my son when he was about 4 months old, and he still loves them 6 months later. And the best part is, if you happen to accidentally leave a large chain of them in a field whilst camping, they are cheap to replace! These are a staple for babyhood joy!! And it's a fun addition to a baby shower gift too.

A great infant toy by Laura Shapland
We were given these for my daughter at about 4 weeks old. She's now 10 weeks and really beginning to take an interest in toys and things around her. These are great toys in themselves; infinite colour combinations, and a rattle all in one. There are enough of them that we hang them from her play gym, car seat, swing seat, and always have a few to hand beside our sofa and in her changing bag. They are also great for hanging other small rattles and toys for her to look at and grab for. We love them.

I bought these to help tether my baby's toys to her carseat or stroller since she has a tendency to throw things overboard. But when I introduced these to her, she didn't even need the toys...she just wanted to play with and chew on the links. These links are great!

I got 24 links and they great for teething baby as well for attaching toys. Sometimes they come apart when baby pulls stronger, but I have no problems with that.

my baby received these when she was three months old and had fun with the different textures and colors. She is now over a year and loves to tug at them, chew on them and toss them around. The links are also great for easily attaching toys to strollers, cribs and shopping carts. I now give these as a gift to all little babies!

I got a set of these as a gift with my first child. I bought this set as a gift for my sister's baby. (When my 18 month old saw the package, she wanted to get them out and start playing!)
The links are wonderful toys (great fun to shake) and functional for keeping other toys from getting chucked overboard. My daughter also liked the various textures when she was small. They are easy to attach / detach to & from one another. I found to be useful in MANY situations; I used them for play things, attaching toys, and even holding a blanket over the stroller on windy or sunny day.

These are a perfect early toy. They are a great size, so my little one can actually grab ahold of them (at 2 months), and I can use them with my other toys (activity gym, tummy time mat) to connect other toys, or just these. I keep a few in each of my dipaer bags and at home.
I hook these rings on my 6 month old son's Baby Einstein jumper and he plays in there for hours! Plus they are convenient to take in the car, in the store, restauants, etc....my son LOVES them! Highly recommended!

We use these every day, in multiple places. Our baby couldn't reach some of the toys on her playmat so we added some links and now she can go to town. We have them on the carseat, attached to toys or even just linked together which also makes a great (and silent) toy for her. She's just starting to teeth as well so she likes to gum them. Great product.
I got a set of these for my first child, and I had my daughter, I got more. Since then, they have added more of the padded multi-colored, soft rings that are better for teething. And it's even better than when I got it almost 2 years ago.
I particularly like that you can attach it to the side of a play-pen, a car-seat, I string them across the top of my open-top swing and dangle toys from it,or to attach toys to the tray on the high-chair. The options for these links are infinite. They make a great toy by themselves, or great teethers. Or great fasteners.
This is an excellent choice for new Mom's anxious to buy baby things or an inexpensive gift for a shower. It's neutral and can be used for several months and not just a few weeks, like other things babies grow out of so fast.

My five month old nephew loves these links! They also double as teething toys, since he already has two teeth!
We purchased these for our 6 month old baby to make a travelling ring set as she loves to chew on rings. These are by the one of the best purchases we have made for our baby. She loves them! We attached them to her car seat for travel and it keeps her entertained for a great part of the trip. They are really great for shopping as well. We can attach toys to them and to the basket and if she drops them they don't fall on the floor. I would highly reccommend these for any one with an infant! I just wish we would have bought them sooner!
